About the Eppert Lab

In our lab, we study the fundamental biology of acute myeloid leukemia (AML) stem cells in pediatric and adult patients. Projects encompass identifying novel drivers of leukemogenesis, novel regulators of stem cells and the development of therapeutics. Our goal is to better understand the biology of these malignant blood stem cells (leukemic stem cells) as they contribute to disease relapse and resistance to therapy.

The Eppert lab is located at the Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre (RI-MUHC) in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. The RI-MUHC is one of the largest medical institutes in Canada and is affiliated with the Faculty of Medicine at McGill University.
