Isabelle Laverdière

Former position: Postdoctoral Fellow

Current position: Assistant Professor Laval University, Quebec

Dr. Laverdière joined the lab in 2014 as a postdoctoral fellow. Her projects encompassed working on exosomes in AML and novel therapeutics targeting leukemic stem cells. Dr. Laverdière went onto becoming an assistant professor at Laval University in 2016.

Leah joined the Eppert lab in the summer of 2019 and examined the role of extracellular vesicles in acute myeloid leukemia.  Afterward, Leah worked as a a clinical research assistant for a CDC virus surveillance study at the University of Pittsburgh.  She is now pursuing medicine at Western Michigan University. When she is not doing science, you can find her at the gym lifting!
