Isabella joined the Eppert lab in September 2018 as a Master student in Experimental Medicine and fast-tracked into the PhD program in 2020. Her project focuses on developing novel therapeutics that target leukemic stem cells in AML. Her interests are medicinal chemistry, cancer and biochemistry and when she is not focused on science, she enjoys to travel.
Hassan joined the Eppert lab in February 2020 as a post-doc fellow in pediatrics. His project focuses on investigating the effect of co-occurring epigenetic mutations in leukemogenesis. Outside of the lab, Hassan enjoys reading science and science-fiction books, nature photography and traveling.
Ana Laura joined the Eppert lab in January 2024 as a Master student in Experimental Medicine. Her project focuses on finding new molecules that target oncogenic fusion proteins driving AML. Her interests are drug discovery, cancer, clinical research and immunology. She enjoys practicing yoga and going to the cinema.

Bahar joined the lab in September 2023 as a PhD student in Experimental Medicine. Her research focuses on epigenetic disruptions and early mutations driving leukemogenesis. She's particularly interested in cancer stem cells and cancer immunotherapy. In her free time, she enjoys reading and playing video games.
Natalie joined the Eppert lab in September 2024 as a Master student in Experimental Medicine. Her project investigates how epigenetic mutations can initiate and drive leukemia. Her research interests include stem cell biology, cancer, and immunology. Outside of the lab, she enjoys reading, colouring, and going to the gym.
